She began filming travel content and posting to Youtube, self-teaching editing softwares, such as Adobe and Davinci Resolve.
Ismah wrote, directed, and produced her first short film with a crew of four other students at American University
March 2023 - July 2022
She graduated from American University with dual-degree BA in History and Literature (Creative Writing)
Received an offer from Disney+ to become a Production Intern, then worked her way to become a Set Production Assistant on Boston Strangler (2023).
Ismah was hired by MGM to become an Office Production Assistant before transferring to the Assistant Director's Team as a Set Production Assistant on Challengers (2024).
Ismah joined the Assistant Director's Team as a Set Production Assistant on American Fiction (2023).
WCTV hired Ismah as a In-House Producer and Video Editor

Ismah made the monumental decision to switch from Law to Filmmaking, turning down a coveted internship with Maryland Assistant District Attorney to become a Production Manager for Current Movements, a non-profit for filmmaker-activists
